Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Methods & Responsibility

We export used vehicles worldwide primarily via sea freight. Shipping terms (FOB or CIF) are agreed upon during the order process:

FOB (Free On Board): Buyer arranges and pays for shipping, insurance, and all destination costs. Risk transfers to the buyer once the vehicle is loaded at the port of origin.

CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight): We arrange shipping and marine insurance to the destination port. Risk transfers to the buyer upon loading, but buyer handles all import procedures and costs.

2. Shipping Process & Timeline

Preparation Time: Upon confirmation of full payment (via Telegraphic Transfer/TT), your vehicle will be prepared for shipment within 5 business days. This includes inspections, documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Export Certificate), and delivery to the port of origin.

Actual Shipment Date: While we ensure prompt readiness, the final shipment date depends on vessel schedules and port availability. Buyers will receive shipping details (e.g., vessel name, departure date) as soon as they are confirmed by the shipping line.

Example: If payment is received on Monday, the vehicle will be ready by the following Monday, but the earliest available vessel might depart 2 weeks later.

3. Shipping Costs & Fees

FOB Orders: Buyer pays all shipping, insurance, and destination charges (e.g., customs duties, taxes, port fees).

CIF Orders: We cover freight and insurance to the destination port only. All import taxes, clearance fees, and inland transportation are the buyer’s responsibility.

Quotes: Shipping costs are provided upon enquiry but may change due to fuel surcharges, route changes, or currency fluctuations.

4. Customs & Import Compliance

Buyer’s Obligation: Buyers must ensure the vehicle complies with their country’s import laws (e.g., age restrictions, emissions standards). We are not liable for seizure, fines, or modifications required by the destination country.

Documents Provided: We supply the Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, and Export Certificate. Additional paperwork (e.g., certificates of origin) may incur fees.

5. Delivery & Inspection

Port Arrival: Buyers must clear customs and collect the vehicle promptly. Storage fees at the destination port are the buyer’s responsibility.

Inspection: Buyers must inspect the vehicle upon arrival and report any shipping-related damage (with photo/video evidence) within 5 days to qualify for a review for a claim. Missing this deadline forfeits compensation rights.

6. Refunds & Shipping-Related Issues

No Refunds for Delays: We are not liable for shipping delays or unforeseen events (e.g., force majeure). Refunds are not provided for delays (see Terms & Conditions for limited goodwill exceptions).

Damaged in Transit: Claims must be filed directly with the insurance provider. We will assist with documentation but are not responsible for compensation.

7. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to update shipping terms due to logistical, legal, or economic factors. Buyers are bound by the policy in effect at the time of order.
